Tammy Lechner is a photo journalist who has covered professional sports for the Associated Press, the Louisville Courier-Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and USA Today Baseball Weekly. She lives in Laguna Beach, California. Billy Williams is a former professional baseball outfielder who played primarily with the Chicago Cubs. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1987.

Photo journalist Tammy Lechner, noted as a “visual chronicler” of the lifestyle and culture of baseball, began her journey to document Cubs fans in January 1993. She covered professional sports during her years on staff with the Louisville Courier-Journal and the Los Angeles Times. Lechner also covered major league baseball for the Associated Press and USA Today Baseball Weekly. A native of New York, she is a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan who resides in Laguna Beach, California.
