In If These Walls Could Talk: Raiders, Kennedy chronicles all things silver and black, from playing in Super Bowl XXXVII, to the departure and then return of head coach Jon Gruden, to today’s Raiders roster. Candid conversations with current and former players and coaches, as well as Kennedy’s comic touch, amplify such Raider happenings as:
- What really happened in Super Bowl XXXVII, when the Raiders were blown out by former coach Jon Gruden and Tampa Bay and a fellow lineman went AWOL days before the game.
- How Al Davis predicted before the 1993 draft that Lincoln would one day be a Raider
- A behind-the-scenes breakdown of the move from Oakland to Las Vegas, including an exclusive interview with Al Davis on his private jet after Davis proclaimed his intentions to move from the Bay Area to Sin City.
- Why Lincoln’s few regrets in his career are in the biggest games the Raiders played in during his time in Oakland.
If These Walls Could Talk: Raiders is a behind-the-scenes perspective on Raiders history, told through the eyes of a Super Bowl offensive line anchor and a fan-favorite team broadcaster in Kennedy, pieced together by ESPN Raiders reporter Paul Gutierrez.
