He is the only person who has done play-by-play broadcasts for all five of the Boston area's major professional sports franchises. Matt Kalman is a freelance journalist who covers the Boston Bruins for CBS Boston, NHL.com, Yahoo! Sports, and other outlets. He is the author of 100 Things Bruins Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die. Ray Bourque played 21 seasons with the Boston Bruins and remains the team’s longest-serving captain. He holds the records for the most career goals, assists, and points by a defenseman in the NHL.
