Author Biography
Athlon Sports is a publisher of preseason, single-title sports annuals, covering professional and college athletics and distributed throughout North America and Europe. Founded in 1967, they are now the largest sports magazine in the U.S., and have won Publisher of the Year, Magazine of the Year, and an Emmy Award. They are based primarily in Nashville, Tennessee. Manfred Moore is a retired professional National Football League running back, whose career included playing for the Oakland Raiders during their Super Bowl XI win. He graduated from the University of Southern California, where he was part of the winning National Championship team of 1972. He is a businessman and lay preacher. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
