Author Biography
Rick Schaeffer was the sports information director with the University of Arkansas athletic department for 24 years and the radio color commentator for Razorbacks football for a decade. He is the founder of Champions for Kids, a nonprofit organization that provides support, training, and resources for youth organizations in Arkansas. Quinn Grovey was the starting quarterback at Arkansas from 1987 to 1989, leading the Razorbacks to Southwest Conference Championships in 1988 and 1989. They both live in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

About the Author:
Rick Schaeffer was the sports information director at the University  of Arkansas and still serves as a color analyst on basketball and baseball broadcasts. He also works on the pregame, halftime, and postgame shows covering the football team. This is his third book. He previously wrote The Game of My Life: 25 Stories of Arkansas Razorbacks Football in 2005 and University of Arkansas Football Vault: The History of the Razorbacks in 2008. Schaeffer and his wife have been married 31 years. They have a 19-year-old son, Benny, and 10 dogs.
