Author Biography

Mary Schmitt Boyer is an award-winning sports reporter and feature writer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer who has spent her career covering Ohio sports. She is a former president of the Association for Women in Sports Media, the 2008 recipient of the AWSM Pioneer Award winner for career achievement, and the coauthor of many sports books, including The Inside Game. She lives in Avon Lake, Ohio.
