Author Biography

Bill Chastain began his journalism career as a freelance writer shortly after graduating from Georgia Tech in 1979. Some of the more notable publications where his stories have appeared over the years include: Razor Magazine, Nation's Business, SPORT Magazine, and Inside Sports. Chastain worked as a sports reporter for The St. Petersburg Times and The St. Petersburg Evening Independent before going to The Tampa Tribune in 1990, where he worked for twelve years as a columnist and sports reporter. While with the Tribune he also served as a correspondent for Sports Illustrated and won awards for feature writing. Chastain has worked as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida, teaching magazine journalism, and has gained a high profile in the Tampa Bay area through radio and TV appearances and various speaking engagements.      Rocky Bleier played fullback for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1968 to 1980. He served his country in Vietnam from 1969-1970, where he was wounded in the leg, but he returned to football. He is currently a professional motivational speaker at his company, Rocky Bleier, Inc.
