50 Greatest NY Giants Review
Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, by Bob Matthews, 8/29/08
A gift recommendation for the New York Giants fanatic in your family or workplace: The 50 Greatest Plays in New York Giants Football History, a new book by John Maxymuk. I'm sure I'm not spoiling things by revealing that the No. 1 play was David Tyree's incredible catch from Eli Manning to prolong the game-winning TD drive in the Super Bowl XLII upset victory over the 18-0 New England Patriots. No. 6 on the list was Mark Ingram's clutch 14-yard catch and run (evading six defenders) from Jeff Hostetler on third-and-13 from the Buffalo 32 for a critical first down in the third quarter of the 20-19 Super Bowl XXV victory over Buffalo.
