While games are won and lost on the field, it's in the locker room where stories are told, friendships are made, and memories are created during the best four years of any college player's life. Not only is Falk a walking encyclopedia on the universe of Michigan football tradition and history, he has helped to create part of the history that only the coaches and players experience. The stories are priceless and the friendships indelibly forged.
MICHIGAN INSIDER SHARES 40 YEARS OF STORIES
He outlasted Bo Schembechler and Lloyd Carr. Tom Brady took his counsel years ago and still follows his instructions today. Hundreds of players and coaches have played at the University of Michigan since 1974, the year that Schembechler hired Jon Falk to join the Wolverines football program as its equipment manager. In fact, Brady respects Falk so much that he wrote the foreword to Falk's If These Walls Could Talk. Falk, with co-author Dan Ewald, shares nearly 40 years of stories from inside The Big House. Wolverines fans know all the on-the-field exploits of their favorite players like Tshimanga Biakabutuka, Braylon Edwards, and Brian Griese, but they don't know the half of the story until they've read Falk's side of all the action. More information about If These Walls Could Talk is available on its official page.
