Donnie Baseball Biography Has Perfect Timing
If perfect timing requires some measure of luck, author Mike Shalin should buy a lottery ticket. Shalin's definitive biography of former New York Yankee legend and current Los Angeles Dodgers manager Don Mattingly is hitting stores now. Donnie Baseball: The Definitive Biography of Don Mattingly coincides with Mattingly's first season as a manager. As most baseball fans know, Mattingly assumed leadership of the Dodgers after Joe Torre retired at the end of the 2010 season. Shalin's timing for his biography is so amazing that both the New York Times and USA Today had to write about it. East coast baseball fans and west coast baseball fans may have had little in common for decades - until now, with Yankees and Dodgers fans alike embracing Donnie Baseball. The Toughest Guy In Any Room
Sports fans everywhere cannot help but notice the attention that brain trauma is receiving in sports, particularly in the NHL where being "tough" is as important as skating. Fans may be in disbelief at what athletes will put themselves through for their sport, but after reading Bob Probert's autobiography they will understand what drives these players to risk permanent brain damage in exchange for their careers and reputation. Few athletes have embraced the role of intimidator as did Probert so it's fitting that his autobiography is called Tough Guy: My Life On The Edge. Available now, Tough Guy takes sports fans inside the world of one of the hardest-hitting, hardest-partying and hardest-living people ever. Before he died on July 5, 2010, Probert had already put together his memoir which will fascinate fans of any sport. Learn more about Tough Guy on its official page.

All the details for both signings are on the official page for Rockin' Steady. If you snooze, you lose!
Baseball Forecaster Is Available Now
The 2011 edition of Baseball Forecaster, the industry's longest-running publication for baseball analysts and fantasy leaguers, is now available. The Baseball Forecaster was the first book to approach prognostication by breaking performance down into its component parts. Rather than predicting batting average, for instance, it looks at the elements of skill that make up that stats - a batter's ability to distinguish between balls and strikes, his propensity to make contact with the ball, what happens when he makes contact-and reverse engineer those skills back into batting average. Learn more about Baseball Forecaster on its official page.
